I recommend you Wonder!
In the LTL class, we read a book called WONDER, later we choose three characters from it, and finally we prepared a storyboard including information of the characters. I worked with Josefina, Sofia and Isabella.

Nos convertimos en científicos!
En la clase de Ciencias Naturales, visitamos el laboratorio, alli realizamos un experimento que consistia en observar los órganos vegetativos y comprobar la función de una raíz tuberosa, en esta ocasión utilizamos una zanahoria. Colocamos el vegetal adentro de un vaso lleno de agua luego de haberle cortado un circulo en la parte superior, y de haberle colocado azúcar adentro. Si el azúcar se mojaba y el nivel del agua bajaba, entonces significaria que la raíz de la zanahoria estaba cumpliendo su funcion, es decir que absorbia el agua. Luego de unos minutos bajó el nivel del agua y el azúcar comenzó a humedecerse.
Posteriormente, observamos que con un químico de color ambar, llamado lugol, podiamos hacer que una batata, se tornara a un color oscuro, esto significa que la planta tiene almidon (sustancia blanca). Lo que pasó fue que el químico se torno de color negro al tener contacto con la batata.
En conclusión a esta observación, pudimos observar la función de una raíz, y pudimos comprender los distintos tipos de raíces, por ejemplo, la raiz tuberosa es grande y gorda debido a que puede almacenar minerales y puede absorberlos.

Registro de clase
Proyecto de taller itinerante de juegos con material reutilizados
El dia 11 de Octubre, visitamos la guarderia Virgen Del Valle De Calzada. Alli llevamos juegos didacticos que hicimos nosotros con materiales reutilizados, por ejemplo, realizamos baleros con botellas. El objetivo de esta visita fue que los chicos aprendieran a reutizar los materiales, transformandolos en un juego. Asi, ellos podrian divertirse y aprender a cuidar el medio ambiente.
En la guarderia, viví distintas experiencias, las que más destaco fueron que los niños se divirtieron con tan solo algunas botellas y tapitas. Ademas, se encariñaban mucho con nosotros, es decir se sentaban a upa nuestro y nos abrazaban: Fueron muy afectuosos y demostrativos con nosotros! Fue una experiencia unica e inolvidable.
En cuanto a mi grupo, se portaron muy bien, es decir, fueron muy capaces de llevar adelante el proyecto que teniamos pensado, sin dificultad alguna. Cada uno de ellos disfrutó muchisimo la experiencia, todos estamos esperando la siguiente salida a otra guarderia.
Esta salida me ayudo a comprender que tan solo con unos simples materiales reutilizados podemos sacarle una sonrisa a un ñiño, ademas de cuidar el medio ambiente. También me dí cuenta, de que a pesar de que vivimos distintas situaciónes sociales, a la hora de jugar, todos los chicos somos iguales y podemos compartir hermosos momentos inolvidables.
Para finalizar quiero agregar que no es necesario tener un juguete costoso para divertirse: Con cualquier elemento reciclable que encontremos en casa, podemos armar un gran juego: Solo es necesario poner en marcha nuestra imaginación y creatividad. Si no tenemos un juguete siempre hay una solucion a nuestro alrededor. Ycomo ya dije antes con tan solo botellas, tapitas, hilo y carton podemos hacer a un ñino feliz. Pero no desvien la mirada de nuesro otro objetivo que es cuidar al medio ambiente, reutilizando. Juntos podemos!..

How population grows
In the EM class, we watched some videos about how the population grows. Later we took four screenshots from the videos, finally we explained them including relevant information.
An environment is a system of living things, the earth is our environment. The capacity of our environment to provide space to produce food into supply energy are all limited. Humans thrive on less than 17% of the earth's surface and only about 4% in growing crops. We depend on limited resources for our survival. Yet we are increasing our population as if they were infinite this fact is the core of our problems.
This map shows population growth, population concentrations is indicated by dots, each of them represent 1 million people.
Though the population in developed countries represents a small amount of the world population, they consume fossil fuels much faster than developing countries. For example in the United States, each person contributes about 1,644 tons of carbon dioxide. That is five times higher than a person in China.
Though levels of consumption differ greatly around the world based on economic status, the higher the population, the higher our total levels of consumption. Some solutions to avoid this are: To lower levels of unnecessary consumption in developed countries, and find sustainable solutions to meet increasing demands on food, water, fuel, and other basic resources. To provide universal access to family planning, services, contraceptives, and information. And to empower women, this means to give women access to health care, education and birth control.
Imagine this glasses represent the differents countries, the fuller the glass gets, the more people there will be. This image represents the entire world.
A thousand years ago the american's glasses were empty, Europe and Africa have less than 100 million people between them. And just like today, most people live in China, India and the rest of Asia.
For centuries things stay pretty much the same, births were cancelled out by deaths, women are having lots of babies, but most of them die before they grow up and have their own families. We don't reach one billion until 1804, but things are changing, now better medicine and better agriculture can reduce the amount of deaths, of course people are still diying, but more babies grow up and have babies of their own.
We have grown from one billion to seven billion and it only took 200 years. Some people say we will level out to ten billion by the end of the century, but the question is: Can the world hold many people?, well experts don't agree, because it all depends on how well we manage our food, water and energy.

The earth's size remains the same. Slowing human population growth and lowering our use of natural resources are key to reducing the impact we have on the planet, though the decisions we make about our lifestyles, our numbers and our consumption.
In the population pyramid, the data is divided by gender, with females on one side and males on the other. The population numbers are shown for each five year age interval, starting from 0-4 and continuing up to 100 and up. These intervals are grouped togother into pre-reproductive, reproductive and post-reproductive years.
Such population pyramid can be a powerful predictor of future population trends. For example...
Rwanda's population pyramid shows it to be a fast-growing county, with most of the population being in the youngest age groups at the bottom of the pyramid. The number will grow rapidly in the coming years. As today's children reach they reproductive years and have children of their own, the total population is almost certain to double within the next few decades.
Countries that have only recently begun the process of industrialization typically see an increase in life expectancy and a fall in child mortality rates as a result of improvements in medicine, sanatation, and food suply.
While birth rates remain constant, leading to a population boom. Developing countries that are farther along in the industrialization process begin to see a fall in birth rates, due to factor such as increased education and opportunities for women outside of child-rearing and a move from rural to urban living that makes having large families and less economically advantageous. Finally, countries in advanced stages of industrialization reach a point where both birth and death rates are low, and the population remains stable or even begins to decline.

Do not let appearances fool you
In the LTL class, we read a story about aliens. Later we drew our own alien, finally we described it. Here is mine.
He is called Alorac, his skin is green with black spots, with them he can jump to the moon by pressing them. He is very small, but that does not mean he isn't powerful. Alorac has an evil mind, he is always planning cruel revenges for his enemies. He looks friendly and kind, but not everything is what it seems to be.

Be hopeful, hurry up
In the Writing class, we chose a picture from the teacher’s Pinterest profile and later we described it, here is my description.
In this picture we can see a enormous cat with green eyes and long whiskers, it is similar to a huge rainfall, he is looking at a young girl. The infant is wearing a pretty dress with white spots and light coloured boots. The cat looks like he is hungry and he wants to eat the little girl. The young girl is running from the huge animal, because she is frightened. We can notice that the junior girl is escaping from the cat. Although this picture does not show hope, I believe that all humans can escape from problems in life, be hopeful.

Pictures on the wall
In the writing class we read a story that was called "The Mary Celeste", later we modificated the story and added an ending, here is mine.
It was a horrible day, it was raining a lot, the water didn’t stop falling, my new shoes got dirty with the water.
When i stopped crying i went to the other ship, the one that i had crashed against with. It was called "The Mary Celeste", I thought that all of the passengers on that ship were were going to be dead, but it wasn’t like this. Nobody was on the Mary Celeste, i could only see some food over a table, a cutlass covered in blood, and a breakfast which was only half eaten.
I was so relieved that i hadn’t hurt anyone, except for my wife.
It was a horrible day, it was raining a lot, the water didn’t stop falling, my new shoes got dirty with the water.
I was sailing with my mates when i lost control of the ship and PUMM!
All my life passed through my mind, i was very scared, like in 1987, when i lost my daughter in a car accident, i felt worried, because i was sure that on the ship that i had crashed there were a lot of passengers with a lovely life, and with this crash, i had taken their lives. I felt so dissapointed.
When i stopped crying i went to the other ship, the one that i had crashed against with. It was called "The Mary Celeste", I thought that all of the passengers on that ship were were going to be dead, but it wasn’t like this. Nobody was on the Mary Celeste, i could only see some food over a table, a cutlass covered in blood, and a breakfast which was only half eaten.
I was so relieved that i hadn’t hurt anyone, except for my wife.
Three days later i started thinking how this ship, "The Mary Celeste", had arrived to the middle of the sea without a captain of someone that drove it.
The next day i arrived to the place where this scene had taken place with Brad, that was a famous detective.
The ship was new and clean, except for the front part that was broken.
We investigated all of it, and compared all the clues that we found, but we couldn’t discover anything.
At the end of the ship, in a corner, there was a lot of wood. I tried to move them but i couldn’t, so Brad had to help me. In the end we made it, there was a kind of room underneath, that had lots of pictures of beautiful women, one of them was my wife, but she was dead, how could this be? Why did they have a photo of my wife? Who is living here? so many questions but no answers...
Later i heard a voice:
"She is my wife now"
A white man appeared sitting on the sofa, he was very strange.
"What is your name?" Asked Brad
" My name is Fernando"
"Who are you?"
"I am spirit, i used to be like you, a simple human"
"Really? are you a spirit?". I said a little bit scared.
"Yeah! ten years ago i was sailing on this ship with my wife Rosie, we wanted to explore the fish, but this ship got broken, a mermaid had stopped the engine, and also she killed my wife, because she was beautiful and the mermaid was jealous."
" I am sorry, but why do you have pictures of different women?" I asked
"Because i want to take revenge, so i have been killing all the women that come across my ship" He replied.
"But where is my wife?" I asked
"Here is the truth: You didn’t crash against my ship, it was attracted to mine, because this ship is made of metal, the engine of the other is made of magnet, so the two ships were attracted. When your ship was near mine i killed your wife and i turned her into a spirit, like me, so the two of us can get married" He explained. "She is so beautiful, and now she is my girl!" He shouted.
I was so shocked and angry.
Brian was white from head to toes.
We decided to sink the ship, so no accident could happen ever again.
Be careful!, because you don’t know what you may find under the sea.
The next day i arrived to the place where this scene had taken place with Brad, that was a famous detective.

In the language throughLiteraure class we wrote a short summary of Steve Irwin’s life, this is my summary.
Steve Irwin, who died on the 4th september in Great Barrier Reef, was recording a documentary for his daughter when a stringray attacked him on the chest.
He had one daughter and one son, he also had a zoo that had been created by his parents. He made documentaries that appeared on Animal Planet and he put his life in danger by being around deadly animals.
In january 2004, he held his baby son in one arm and with the other he fed a dead chicken to a crocodile. In june 2004 he disturbed some whales, seals and penguins while he was filming a documentary in Antartica. Later child welfare and animal's rights groups criticized his actions.

Una estrella más
En la clase de Practicas Del Lenguaje debíamos escribír un mito explicando la creación de un hecho de la naturaleza
La ciudad de La Luna estaba dividida en dos sectores, uno era del bien, que estaba reinado por Munisdis y el otro era del mal que estaba reinado por Linous.
Ambos sectores tenían una gran rivalidad entre sí, Linous había capturado a la esposa y al hijo de Munisdis, el como siempre lo tomó con calma, pero una semana más tarde Linous no solo mató a su hijo si no que tambien tuvo otro con su esposa.
Munisdis enojado como nunca antes, visitó la otra parte del reino y buscó a Linous para hablar sobre lo que habia ocurrido.
Munisdis encontró a la antigua esposa de Linous, la reina del mal, el no podia dejar de mirarla, sus plumas doradas eran como un trozo de seda brillante y sus ojos eran como una cascada azul que nunca terminaba.
Ambos se enamoraron por completo, Linous enfureció porque Munisdis le había robado a su antigua esposa, Murinda, Linous quería tener a las dos mujeres, por eso sugirió una guerra.
-El que gané la guerra se quedará con ambas mujeres y con ambas partes del reino- Dijo Linous
-Y nuestra rivalidad acabará- Agregó Munidis.
La guerra duró tres largos días, muchos trabajadores del bien y del mal murieron, Linous dejó todo en esa guerra, pero por desgracia no fue lo suficiente para sobrevivir.
Munisdis decidió juntar ambas partes del reino y acabar con esa rivalidad.
Creó un sector en honor a Linous, después de todo ambos habían sido buenos enemigos.
Linous y su esposa se transformaron gracias a Murinda y su rinoceronte mágico:
Se dice que cuando los cuernos de un rinoceronte tienen contacto con los humanos, se forma una estrella más, desde arriba, cerca de la luna, Linous y su esposa nos miran todas las noches.

Visita a la Catedral y el Museo de Ciencias Naturales
El Miércoles 17 de Mayo fuimos de visita a la Catedral y El Museo de Ciencias Naturales.
Cuando llegamos visitamos a la Catedral, era muy bella, tenía unas gárgolas muy lindas, allí sacamos muchas fotos y nos divertimos observandola.
Más tarde fuimos a un parque a almorzar, luego de un rato visitamos el Museo De Ciencias Naturales, primero hicimos una visita guiada que estuvo muy buena, aprendimos muchas cosas muy interesantes, después fuimos a una de las partes que más nos gustó, y por último dibujamos algunos animales de el Museo, aquí hay algunas fotos.

Una carta diferente
Nos asignaron una actividad en Ciencias Naturales en la que debiamos leer la carta Del Ultimo Jefe de Seattle
y luego debiamos redactar un texto relacionandolo con las siguientes palabras : Ecosistemas, biodiversidad,
equilibrio biológico, y principalmente con el texto De La Promesa Ambiental.
El Jefe de Washington quiere comprar nuestras tierras pero las tiene que respetar porque son sagradas,
Cada parcela de esta tierra es sagrada para mi pueblo, cada brillante mata de pino, cada grano de arena en las playas,
cada gota de rocío en los bosques, cada altozano y hasta el
sonido de cada insecto es sagrado a la memoria y
al pasado de mi pueblo.
Esta carta esta relacionada con el ecosistema porque habla de que si el jefe compra esas tierras
tiene que respetar a los árboles, a los animales, y al ambiente, es decir al ecosistema.
El texto tambien incluye biodiversidad, El aire tiene un valor inestimable para el piel roja ya que todos los seres
comparten un mismo aliento - la bestia, el árbol, el hombre, todos respiramos el mismo aire, por ejemplo :
Las flores perfumadas son nuestras hermanas; el venado, el caballo, la gran águila; éstos son nuestros hermanos.
Las escarpadas peñas, los húmedos prados, el calor del cuerpo del caballo y el hombre, todos pertenecemos a la misma
familia.
La carta tambien habla sobre los cuidados ambientales que incluye la Promesa Ambiental, esto es lo que dice el
texto : El hombre blanco debe tratar a los animales de esta tierra como a sus hermanos. Soy un salvaje y no
comprendo otro modo de vida. He visto a miles de búfalos pudriéndose en las praderas, muertos a tiros por el hombre
blanco desde un tren en marcha. Soy un salvaje y no comprendo como una máquina humeante puede importar más que el
búfalo al nosotros matamos sólo para sobrevivir.

When he was three he fell off the grain elevator, because he wanted to know how the elevator worked. Some years later he triyed to sat over an egg to help a chicken come out of its egg.
When he was seven his mother took him out of school and taught him at home, because his teachers thought that he asked stupid things.
When he was ten he set the basement on fire because he was doing one of his experiments.
At the age of twelve he sold candies and newspapers, because he wanted to earn money for buying chemicals for his experiments. Later on he became electricity and chemistry.

Romeo is banished from Verona Mercutio and Tybalt die
Tybalt said that he would like a word with Mercutio, but Mercutio suggested a fight, the two of them took a sword and started fighting. Tybalt killed Mercutio and Romeo was very angry because Mercutio was his friend, so he killed Tybalt.A few minutes later the Prince Escalus got to know what happened, he decided to banished Romeo or he would be executed.

Nuestro origen
La Profesora de Historia nos pidió que vieramos un video sobre "La Historia Del Hombre".En el video los investigadores buscaron antepasados fociles en Africa, y explicaron la evolución de bestia a humano.
Se mostraron características del Australopitecus a Farensis, del Homo erectus y del Homo Sapiens.
El homo Sapiens fue el que evolucionó al hombre. Se mostro la tribu San, que fueron los primeros hombres modernos.

En Africa erupcionó un volcan, sus cenizas con la lluvia formaron cemento humedo.Dos afarensis dejaron huellas en las cenizas se determino que median de 1.20 a 1.50 metros y se dedujo su comportamiento : Caminaban en grupos o parejas, herguidos y tenian comportamiento siniestro.
El homoerectus fue buen fabricante de herramientas, cortó carne y asi cambio su alimentacion : Las proteínas de la carne aumentaron su cerebro. Luchó por la supervivencia. Dominó el fuego : Tuvo hogera fija en su caverna, esto lo mantuvo abrigado en su cueva y calentaba su comida.Pudó asustar al enemigo con fuego.
El pueblo San en Africa, son descendientes directos del homo sapiens. Es la tribu más antigua del mundo. Los San fueron los primeros hombres modernos nos hicimos humanos cuando nos convertimos en hombres modernos, la creatividad nos diferenció.
